Q: How do I purchase and set up Stable Secretary?
A: It’s easy! Go to our Compare Plans page, choose a subscription package based on the number of horses you will want to track, and click the “Purchase” button! You will set up an account which will be your username and password. Then, you’ll choose to either pay monthly or annually, and then you’ll enter your credit card information. Once you have completed those steps, Stable Secretary will guide you through the setup process where you can add your horses, contacts, and customize the application for your individual business.

Q: Can I change my plan later on?
A: We understand that your business will grow and shrink over time. It’s easy to change your subscription package anytime. Just click the “Manage My Subscription” on your Admin page, and your payments will be prorated to reflect the change.

Q: Is it easy to install?
A: You don’t actually need to install anything on your own computer – the software and your data are hosted securely on a server. The setup process is easy because Stable Secretary guides you through each step.
You will need to download the app for your SmartPhone – StableSecretary works on both the iPhone and Android. Just go to the app store, search for “Stable Secretary”, download the app, and login to start using it immediately!

Q: Will it work on my phone even if there is no Internet connection?
A: Yes, you will still be able to enter records and view information on your phone even when there isn’t an Internet connection. It will synch up automatically to enter or download any new information once a connection becomes available.

Q: Will it work on a Mac?
A: Stable Secretary works on a Mac, a PC, the iPad, the iPhone, and the Android.

Q: Will it work with QuickBooks?
A: It will at the end of October, 2017! In the meantime, See how simple it is to use Stable Secretary and QuickBooks together to get the best of all worlds in invoicing!

Q: What if I don’t understand how to use it?
A: Stable Secretary has been designed to be easy-to-use, so you will probably have no trouble understanding it. If you do have questions, there is a Support page on the app (once you are logged in) with instructions and demonstration videos to show you how to navigate through all of the functionality and features of the software.
