At Code Four Show Stables, success is built on more than ribbons and results—it’s built on teamwork, trust, and seamless organization. Operated by Guy and Tiffany Cambria, this respected hunter/jumper program is based in Upperville, VA, with a winter home at World Equestrian Center Ocala. The farm caters to a dedicated group of clients and horses competing at top shows across the East Coast, including Lexington, Tryon, Capital Challenge, and more.
Behind the scenes, barn manager and rider Dana Robinson helps keep everything running smoothly for a string of 25 to 30 horses owned by nearly 17 different clients. With a busy schedule, a hands-on training approach, and a large support team that includes two trainers and six grooms, staying organized is non-negotiable, and that’s where StableSecretary makes all the difference.
Before adopting StableSecretary, Code Four had all the key information (vet records, horse profiles, photos, etc.) but it was scattered across different platforms and people. Finding what they needed wasn’t impossible, but it wasn’t always efficient. Now, StableSecretary serves as a central hub where everyone on the team can access consistent, up-to-date records from their phones, whether they’re ringside, in the barn, or on the road.
For a large team working across multiple locations, this shared visibility is essential. It eliminates guesswork, reduces errors, and helps ensure every horse receives the same high level of care no matter who is handling them on a given day.
One of the most heavily used features at Code Four is the ability to upload documents and photos to individual horse records. Whether it’s detailed veterinary reports, farrier updates, or routine notes, everything is kept in one place and backed by a clear timeline. Rather than relying on memory or manual logs, Dana and the team can easily track treatments, monitor care, and prepare for appointments with all the history in hand.
This level of organization is especially helpful when communicating with veterinarians or coordinating care among multiple staff members. Having reliable, documented information readily available has reduced confusion and saved valuable time, two things that are always in short supply at a show barn. StableSecretary has also helped improve internal communication. With everyone using the same platform, scheduling and planning have become more streamlined. For a program like Code Four, where multiple people contribute to each horse’s daily routine, having a shared system ensures that no detail is missed, and no task falls through the cracks.
Routine scheduling like vet visits and follow-up treatments is much easier to coordinate and track. The uniform format means that even when responsibilities shift, everyone knows where to find the most current information.
Code Four’s goal is to continue helping clients and horses progress in a positive, professional environment. StableSecretary plays a quiet but crucial role in supporting that mission by keeping the behind-the-scenes work efficient and organized.
Instead of spending hours tracking down paperwork or rewriting schedules, the team can focus more of their energy where it matters most—on the horses, the training, and the experience they provide to their clients. Whether you manage a handful of horses or an operation the size of Code Four, StableSecretary is designed to make barn life easier. From streamlined recordkeeping to team-wide communication, it’s built to support real-world barn needs, day in and day out.
