How do I subscribe to StableSecretary?
It’s easy! Go to our Pricing page, choose a Product that has the features you need and a Plan based on the number of Active horses you have. Start a Free Trial online for 30 days, or start a Free Month through Apple subscriptions or the Google Play Store, or go ahead and Subscribe immediately! When you subscribe, you will enter your account information (username and password); you’ll select a Product, Plan; and you’ll elect to pay monthly or annually, via credit or debit card or ACH payment.
Can I change my product or plan if my needs change?
Yes! We understand that your business may grow or shrink over time. It’s easy to change your subscription Product or Plan anytime. Just click “Your Account -> Subscription” on your Settings page to make changes.
How do I get everything set up?
StableSecretary is cloud-based so you do not need to install anything on your computer to use the online software. Download the iPhone app in the app store, and the Android app in the play store.
Then, log into StableSecretary – online or via the mobile app – to use easy forms or import tools to Add Contacts, Horses, Information, Records, and Scheduled Events. If you have a lot of info already organized in a spreadsheet, look into importing Horses and Contacts from a csv file!

Is Support and Training included with all of the products?
Yes it is! Our goal is for you to get your barn to run in a more organized way with less work! And we KNOW that will happen once you start using StableSecretary. If you have a question or need help at any part of your StableSecretary journey, we are here to support and train you at no additional cost! We are more than happy to meet you and help you become experts in our software and mobile app!
Will the app work on my phone even if there is no Internet connection?
Yes, you will still be able to enter records and view information on your phone even when there isn’t an Internet connection. It will sync automatically to enter or download any new information once a connection becomes available.
Will it work on a Mac and PC?
Stable Secretary works in nearly every web browser including Safari for Mac, as well as iOS for iPad and iPhone.
Can I integrate with an online payment processor?
StableSecretary can be integrated with Stripe. It’s an easy setup, and once you are connected, then your customers can pay you online. You can also add a convenience fee, or online payment fee, to counteract Stripe’s processing fees (check to make sure that is legal in your state).
Will it work with QuickBooks?
StableSecretary is integrated with Quickbooks Online. Once your connection is enabled, you will be able to export payments and invoice items from StableSecretary to Quickbooks Online.
Can I add my staff to my subscription?
Yes! It takes a village to run a barn well! You can add employees, barn managers, farriers, vets, owners, and even clients to your StableSecretary. They do not need their own subscription. You will add them as Team Members with whatever permission level (add | edit | delete | view) you wish. Then, they can access your StableSecretary.
Does this work in other countries besides the USA?
We have subscribers all across the world! All of our lists, and all of your info, are able to be customized. And our schedule will adapt to your time zone. StableSecretary is available to you wherever you – and your horses – happen to live!
