Attachments
For contacts, attachments can only be added to service records, as these are the only records that can be saved to just a contact.
To add an attachment to a service record for a Contact, the record must be edited. There are 2 ways to do this:
- Right away when saving a record, the green confirmation box includes the link in bold “Add attachment”.
- Find the record on the Contact’s profile page > Records tab, click the record name, click the edit icon at the bottom when viewing the record.
From within the edit record form follow these steps to add the attachment:
- At the bottom of the form is the field “Image Attachment”. Click “choose file”.
- Navigate through your computer’s files to find the photo or document attach, double click the file.
- Click “Save” to process the upload.
- File size maximums do exist. If an attachment fails, it is generally too large a file to be uploaded. Try cropping a photo or splitting a form into 2 smaller files.
To edit an attached image: Find the record, click edit, use the “choose file” button to find a different file, double click it, click “Save” to change the file attached to that record.
To delete an attached image: There is no option to just delete the attachment within a record. Delete the whole record then add it back without the attachment.
