“Catherine Haddad Staller (USA) was stationed in Germany from 1993 to 2012 where she represented the United States in competitions throughout Europe at both national and international levels. With Maximus JSS, Cadillac and Winyamaro, she accumulated over 120 top ten placings and wins at Grand Prix.

In 2006, Haddad Staller was alternate for the US Dressage Team in Aachen at the World Equestrian Games. In 2007, with Maximus JSS, she finished seventh at the 2007 FEI World Cup Finals in Las Vegas.

In 2009, Haddad Staller won 9 Grand Prix with Cadillac and Winyamaro in European competitions. In 2010, she was Reserve for the US Dressage Team for the World Equestrian Games in Kentucky and won the CDI-W at Dressage at Devon in the USA. Returning to Europe that fall, she represented the USA at the Leipzig FEI World Cup Final in April of 2011.

Haddad Staller returned to the USA in 2012 and opened training facilities in New Jersey and Florida which are still currently operating.”

Get to know more about Catherine Haddad Staller and her farm manager and assistant trainer Michelle Brady, below!

Where are you from?

CHS: I am originally from Michigan but my training and sales business now has two bases: Califon, NJ and Palm City, FL.

MB: I am from the beautiful little town of La Grande, Oregon.

What is your current role within the horse industry?
CHS: I am an international competitor in Dressage. I train horses and people from basic work to Grand Prix.

MB: I am currently working as an assistant trainer and barn manager for Catherine Haddad Staller at International Dressage Inc.

How did you become involved with horses? 
CHS: As a young girl I was lucky enough to have a pony. I never really looked back!

MB: Like many horse people I had “Horse Fever” as a kid and I’ve always found ways to be around them. I think my first word was “Horse!”

Five fun facts about you:
CHS: 1) I really want to be a stand up comedian.
2) I lived in Germany for 20 years.
3) I love to fly fish.
4) My husband and I play a lot of cribbage.
5) If I could get one more product sponsor it would be Tesla.

MB: 1) My first horse was a chestnut Arabian mare named Polisa.
2) I used to work for a Livestock yard sorting cattle for auction by horseback and starting young horses for ranch work.
3) My favorite dog breed is Malamute. I have a Malamute named Loki who stays in New Jersey in the winter with my husband.
4) I love to read. I just finished reading “The Art of Peace” by Morihei Ueshiba.
5) I’m fascinated by physics. One of my bucket list travel sites is the Large Hadron Collider at CERN in Geneva, Switzerland.

What do you do when you aren’t at the barn?
CHS: I work on my computer, work out and cook!

MB: I’m an avid Gamer. That’s right, I love to play MMORPG’s when I’m not horsing around.
