The Competitions tab and its functions are included at the Performance and Professional Subscription levels.
Current, Upcoming, and Past Competitions
The competitions list shows drop menus for Current, Upcoming, and Past competitions. Each drop menu displays the competition name, rating, start/end/entry due dates, and location.
CURRENT COMPETITIONS is a list of competitions happening that day, or has a date range that includes the day the page is being viewed. Actions include view, add service records, edit, and delete.
UPCOMING COMPETITIONS is a list of competitions happening in the future, based on the start date of the competition, not the entry due date. Actions include view, add service records, edit, and delete.
PAST COMPETITIONS is a list of competitions with end dates in the past. Actions include view, add service records, edit, and delete.
Adding Competitions
Use the “Add Competitions” button to create an upcoming show or event.
The first step is to fill in the Competition information in the “Basic Info” section. Once this has been filled out, use the “edit competition” button to add information to the additional pages, if so desired.
- Must include a name, start/end dates, entry due dates, and location of the event
- Can also add Horses and Contacts for the event. Only these selected horses and contacts will be used in the next pages of the form.
- Only selected horses and contacts are able to have service records for competitions added.
- A rating if need be.
The additional pages are: Divisions, Classes, Riders, Results, and Logistics Report:
- DIVISIONS page offers fields to put in the names of each division, their rating, number of classes in that division, and which horses will be entered there.
- Click “Add Another Division” to create as many as needed.
- Click “Save Divisions” to move to the next page.
- CLASSES pages offers fields to name each class in a division, add more or remove classes from a division, put the specific date of the class if the same division will run multiple days of a multiple day show. Miscellaneous classes can be added in the field at the top, for standalone classes.
- Click “Save Classes” to move to the next page.
- RIDERS page is where the contacts selected can be assigned to their horse and class.
- Using “Apply All” will assign the same rider to that same horse for just that division of classes.
- Click “Save Riders”.
Once divisions, classes, and riders have been saved, the software returns to the Competitions list page. To add results to the competition, choose it from the “Current Competitions” tab.
- RESULTS page offers fields to enter placings (from a dropdown menu of values), earnings, points, and # of entries for each class.
- Click “Save Results” to finish.
- LOGISTICS REPORT page provides a summary of the competition, displaying horses, riders, divisions, classes, the date of each class, and the placings that were entered.
- Currently this report does not have a print button on it, but can be printed by the “print” function of a web browser.

Add Records for Competition
Service records can be added specifically for competitions. To do this, there are 2 places to start: the “Add Records for Competition” tab within add service records OR the “Add Records for Competition” button in the Competitions tab.
- In field 1, select the competition from the drop menu.
- In field 2, choose which horses and/or accounts to create records lines for. Toggle on/off to remove all horses or all contacts.
- In field 3, fill out the details for each horse’s or contact’s service records, just like normal. Each record will have the competition name in the comments box already.
- Use “add another record” below each name to add another line for that horse or contact.
- Use “apply to all” to fill in the same value for all records lines being created.
- Click “Save Records”.
For Professional level subscribers, service records for competition can be billed to invoices either on their own invoice or combined with regular service records. Learn how on the “Create Invoices” section of our Invoices support page.
